• Is roll-fold the same as tri-fold?

  Technically no. Tri-fold leaflets use two vertical folds, resulting in three columns per side making 6pp.  However, roll-fold leaflets can consist of three folds, one on top of the other to make 8pp. Roll-fold is also referred to as letter fold.

• What do you mean by crease fold?

  When folding thicker paper like 250gsm, the fibers at the edge of the flap can sometimes crack. In order to prevent this, any paper stock that is 250gsm or thicker is crease folded. Creasing weakens the paper at the fold to make it easier to fold.

• What is the difference between uncoated, gloss and silk paper?
